ABOUT THE POSITION:

  • Phones and scheduling

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional appearance and diction required as this is a patient facing role

  • 2+ years' recent work experience in a medical or aesthetics practice (job longevity is a high priority in consideration for this position.)

  • Ability to work in a very fast paced, busy atmosphere, taking initiative to handle details that help maintain a high level of patient care

ABOUT THE POSITION:

  • Work well with other staff to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow into and through the practice
  • Assist Front Office during busy periods to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Prepare syringes for aesthetic injectibles as instructed, assist with preparations for dermal fillers, peels and laser procedures
  • Must be proactive in identifying other work that needs to be handled
  • Room patients, set up and assist in minor surgical procedures, collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Take before / after photographs
  • Advise doctor on patient needs,
  • Document information in patient paper charts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years' experience working Back Office in some area of Aesthetics – Derm, Plastics, Medi-Spa…
  • Knowledge of injectibles, laser procedures as well as patient preparation tasks prior to procedures
  • Ability to work in a slow-paced environment and take initiative to pro-actively handle outstanding tasks without being asked
  • High attention to details in documenting patient information in charts – good handwriting, proper English note-taking and spelling
  • Strong experience drawing and giving injections (Blood draw NOT REQUIRED.)

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:

  • M-F 35-40 hrs/wk. NO WEEKENDS! 
  • $17-20/hr based on experience

ABOUT THE POSITION:

  • Ensure the practice runs smoothly, patients are handled with a high level of care and the practice operates at a fiscally-positive revenue level
  • Monitor the flow of the practice for efficiency, customer service and proper business management
  • Hire, evaluate and terminate employees as needed
  • Oversee equipment contracts & maintenance, supplies, review and management of products offered to patients
  • Ongoing evaluation of options for service enhancements, new products, procedures and other sources of revenue
  • Develop and maintain Budgets making ongoing reports on financial status to the owner group

  • Management experience supervising a surgical medical practice
  • 5+ years’ running a private medical practice from a clinical viewpoint (versus financial) managing 15+ employees
  • Must have experience supervising a large and diverse team including Front, Back, Doctors, NPs and PAs
  • Experienced in and knowledgeable about current OSHA regulations and regulatory requirements for a Surgery Center
  • Understanding of basic HR requirements for employees – both hourly and salary to facilitate proper scheduling of staff
  • Experience developing and managing a medical office budget including reporting to higher-ups
  • Solid understanding of each staff role in a surgical practice in order to supervise in a hands-on manner - this person does not need to be able to DO each job, but must know the scope of each role to ensure all tasks required are effectively handled by the best team member.
