ABOUT THE POSITION:
- This is a long term RN Supervisor assignment that could go permanent in the future
- Under the supervision of the Nursing Director, this role will provide medical services to low-income adults in Los Angeles County, with a specific focus on the LGBT community and other underserved communities
- Work closely with the Nursing Director to design, implement and monitor workflow processes making improvements as needed
- Provide clinical support to medical providers before and after visits
- Triage walk-in patients with acute medical concerns, treat patients diagnosed with (STIs)
- Provide chronic disease management (CDM) for patients that are referred by providers, develop appropriate care plan and delegate to LVN appropriate CDM referrals
- Assist front office staff in reviewing medical records to prioritize and adjust patient appointments as needed
- Ensure patients receive specialty referrals ensuring prompt follow through
- Provide and appropriately document health education to patients.
- Provide leadership to LVN, medical assistants, phlebotomist, and other clinical staff
- Works in collaboration with the Nursing Director to ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state and federal regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have current and unblemished California RN License
- COVID – 19 Vaccine – First two vaccines and booster, TB Screening – Not older than 6 months from start date, Physical – Within one month from start date, MMR, Tdap – not older than 10 years, Flu shot/ Waiver, Hep B 3 Series
- Must have valid CPR or BLS Certificate

REQUIREMENTS
- Current RN license and recent surgical experience
- Experience as a Surgical Nurse handling pre-op, post-op and circulating
- Understanding of regulatory requirements of a surgical suite and the knowledge to establish and maintain proper documentation of the surgery suite and staff
- Schedule flexibility to be able to cover any surgical role in the event of a last-minute call-out to ensure surgeries proceed as schedule
- Personal transportation
- Prior experience supervising other staff

- In addition, the Registered Nurse will work closely with the Medical Director and Nursing Supervisor to design, implement and monitor workflow processes throughout all sites as it pertains to patient centered medical home (PCMH) implementation.
- This position is primarily clinical.
REQUIREMENTS
- Provide clinical support to medical providers before and after primary care visits so as to ensure the timely delivery of quality medical care.
- Treat patients diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in a timely manner and according to the company's clinical STI treatment guidelines.
- Administer vaccines to patients per clinical guidelines.

- Ability to practice autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to see 20-25 patients per day.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
$8,000 sign-on bonus ½ paid at 90 days, ½ at end of calendar year
Hourly pay $53-$78/hr depending on license and length of experience
- Normal Schedule is 4 x 10-hour days 8a-6p, NOT considered overtime as it is the standard schedule.
- Start at 36 hours/week then expand to 40 hours when fully acclimated to working solo.
