 FRONT OFFICE / SCHEDULER

(Job #2171) MEDICAL FRONT OFFICE / SCHEDULER needed for CEDARS private medical practice.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience working in a medical private practice as a Front Office or doctor's secretary
  • Candidates must have a solid vocabulary of medical terminology and an understanding of the operation of a private medical practice
  • Experience must include Internal Medicine or some area such as Cardio, Pulm......
  • Ability to work in a busy environment, prioritize and handle various tasks efficiently
  • Must be computer proficient with some experience working with an EMR/EHR system (Epic, Nextgen highly desired)

Job Details:

  • Work well with other staff to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow into and through the practice
  • Handle phone calls providing information, scheduling and confirmation of appointments, triage of urgent needs
  • Pay fine attention to the minute details to ensure patients are educated on the details and requirements of their appointments assuring they are prompt and prepared for their visit

Schedule and Compensation:

  • M-F 830-530p
  • $22+/hr based on experience 
  • Includes strong benefits package including 75% paid health, parking, vacation, sick, holidays, pension plan and life insurance!

(Job #2161) Experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator for Torrance- area Orthodontic practice

ABOUT THE POSITION:

  • Single location Orthodontic office
  • NO WEEKENDS!
  • Beautiful office with the latest instruments and convenient open parking!
  • Discuss treatment options with patients, assist arranging payment or applying for financial assistance
  • Coordinate treatment plan as patient liaison to the practice

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience working in a private dental practice
  • Understanding of dental procedures, billing and prior experience explaining procedures to patients
  • Experience discussing dental treatment options and payment details with patients
  • Understanding of orthodontics specifically is highly desired
  • Computer proficiency required including experience using a Dental EMR program such as Dolphin or Dentrix.

SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • 40 Hrs/Wk 8 hrs/day – NO WEEKENDS!
  • Salary $25+ depending on experience
  • Benefits package including in-office dental, Orthodontic treatments free after 90 days, 1 week vacation after 12 months, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 sick days per year, paid holidays when they fall on a work day, paid uniforms after 90 days, monthly bonuses after 90 days.

Practice Coordinator


(Job #2115) Beverly Hills Plastic Surgical Practice seeking an experienced PRACTICE COORDINATOR

This is a wonderful office atmosphere for a motivated, experienced person looking to be the sole coordinator for a plastics doctor. This person handles all aspects for the doctor in an environment with other single practitioners and their coordinators. Great opportunity to be the sole coordinator but not alone in the office!


JOB DUTIES:

  • Clerical – make and confirm appointments, insurance verification, check in/out. Coordinate paper charts.
  • Social Media / Marketing - take initiative in handling social media. Develop and execute other actions to drive business
  • Back Office (training provided) - Coordinate clinical trials, assist in occasional in-office procedures, clean and maintain exam rooms, inventory and order medical and office supplies
  • Surgical – close the deal after the patient meets with the doctor! Then, coordinate the surgery including patient paperwork, pre-op exams and all other details.
  • Doctor’s Assistant – handle personal calendar, travel details and expenses

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proof of at least one (1) Covid Vaccination Required
  • Must be self-driven, creative with marketing and social media ideas, sales-oriented and good at making things happen without being directed.
  • 2+ consistent years’ experience working in a medical private practice (recent same employer for 2+ years REQUIRED!)
  • Experience in some area of surgery (plastic surgery, orthopedics, ENT) with aesthetics knowledge highly desired
  • Professional communication skills
  • Computer proficient with a typing speed of 45+wpm (typingtest.com to test your speed) and experience in Word processing, basic spreadsheets to assist accounting, e-mail, scanning and other clerical processes

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:

  • M-F 9a-5p $30/hr
  • 100% health PPO, 2 weeks vacation after 1st year, paid holidays, sick, parking
