Nurse Practitioner 

(Job # 1846) Full Time NURSE PRACTITIONER  seeking  position with a private Internal Medicine/Infectious Disease practice in the mid-Valley. This position can be full or part time and is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with critical care patients.

Job Details

  • This practice sees patients throughout the Encino to Sherman Oaks valley region; Out-patient and In-patient medical sites including hospitals and rehabilitation facilities.
  • Perform evaluations, initiate testing, review test results, develop treatment plan 
  • Educate patients and families of existing situation, treatment options and treatment plan
  • Work with physician and other NP staff to ensure quality care to patients 
  • Opportunity to work independently while having the support of other team members
Skills Required

  • Bilingual Spanish highly desired!
  • 3-5 years' active work experience in evaluating patients, identifying issues, development of diagnoses, initiating and facilitating treatment, working with patients, families and facilities to ensure a quality level of patient care
  • Primary Care: 1 year (Preferred) nursing: 1 year (Preferred) Critical Care 1 year (Preferred) Infectious Disease a plus  
  • Active NP license License to practice in California including prescription writing. License will be verified prior to interviews and any job offer may be contingent on a background check. 
  • Have the desire and ability to facilitate credentialing at facilities the practice has patients. 
  • Professional appearance and communication ability with a friendly and warm personality that demonstrates enjoyment in getting to know the patients and helping them regain their health.
Schedule and Compensation
  • This is a Full Time position, M-F.

  • Highly desire people who can work Weekends/Holidays on rotating basis.

  • Must have reliable personal transportation.

  • Compensation as Full Time Staff (W2), plus bonus per patient.

  • Paid parking, vacation days, sick time, malpractice insurance, credentialing & continued education.
