Medical Doctor / Physician 

(Job # 1869) MEDICAL DOCTOR for Tarzana-area Internal Medicine / Critical Care Private Practice. Join other MD and NP staff in a well-respected, successful, private, medical practice.

JOB DETAILS

  • This practice sees patients throughout the Encino to Sherman Oaks Valley region;
  • Generally 2-3 days per week out-patient office in Tarzana and rest of the week at In-patient medical sites as a critical care / infectious diseases consultant for area hospitals and other medical facilities.
  • Perform evaluations, initiate testing, review test results, develop treatment plan, prescribe medications and monitor progress
  • Educate patients and families of existing situation, treatment options and treatment plan Work with NP staff to ensure ongoing quality care to patients
  • Work independently while having the support of other team members. Our owner-MD will assist you in learning what you don't already know and guide you to a successful medical practitioner career delivering a strong income

REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE AS AN MD!

  • Initiative, desire to SUCCEED not just "show up." We seek someone who wants to be with the best, and BE the best!
  • Candidates must have an interest and ability in seeing patients in an out-patient and in-patient setting as needed.
  • An interest in learning what we do, working hard and dedicating yourself to developing a strong medical career with us!
  • Bilingual Spanish highly desired!
  • Ideal candidates have experience in critical care and/or infectious diseases with 3-5 years' recent active MD work.
  • Recent MD experience in evaluating patients, identifying issues, development of diagnoses, initiating and facilitating treatment, working with patients, families and facilities to ensure a quality level of patient care
  • Primary Care: 1 year (Preferred) Critical Care 1 year (Preferred) Infectious Disease a plus
  • Active, unblemished USA MD License to practice in California including prescription writing.
  • License will be verified prior to interviews and any job offer may be contingent on a background check.
  • Have the ability to be credentialed at facilities the practice has patients - support staff will coordinate.
  • High energy and a "ready-to-go" upbeat attitude!
  • Professional appearance and communication ability with a friendly and warm personality that demonstrates enjoyment in getting to know the patients and helping them regain their health.
  • Must have reliable personal transportation.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

  • W-2 or I-9 employment $200,000, estimated income depending on the schedule of your choosing! All practitioner costs are covered by the practice. Fantastic support staff to assist with credentialing, billing, collections and appointments. Flexible hours, a terrific work environment and great co-workers in a private practice setting.
  • This is a Full Time position, M-F with Weekends/Holidays on a rotating basis.
  • Compensation as Full Time Staff (W2) OR Independent Contractor plus bonus per patient. Paid parking, malpractice insurance, credentialing & continued education all covered by the practice.

Nurse Practitioner 

(Job # 1874) NURSE PRACTITIONER to provide outpatient and inpatient care handling Critical Care patients in the mid-San Fernando Valley.

JOB DETAILS:

  • Fantastic support team that works to manage your schedule and fellow practitioners ready and willing to provide support or feedback when needed
  • This practice sees patients in office (outpatient) 2 days pwer week and treats/consults on inpatients throughout the Encino to Sherman Oaks valley region 3 days per week (on average)
  • Coordinate your own schedule based on patient amount, specific patient needs and locations
  • Must have a high-energy drive and excitement for the job!
  • Perform evaluations, initiate testing, review test results, develop treatment plan
  • Educate patients and families of existing situation, treatment options and treatment plan
  • Work with physician and other NP staff to ensure quality care to patients
  • Opportunity to work independently while having the support of other team members

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bilingual Spanish highly desired

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

  • This position is a Full Time position with days/hours somewhat flexible
  • Weekends and holidays rotate between the practitiioners on staff
  • Must have reliable personal transportation
  • Compensation is base plus bonus paid per patient
