(Job #2307) NUCLEAR TECH needed for CEDARS-area private medical practice. NO NIGHT WORK, NO WEEKEND WORK, OFF ON HOLIDAYS!
ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position MUST operate a D-Spect unit, Prepare and administer radioactive drugs
Capture images for the physician to use to diagnose
Limit radiation exposure to the patient and staff members administering the tests
Explain procedures to patientsPrepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients for imaging or treatment. Orovide technical support to physicians to diagnose, and treat patients
REQUIREMENTS:
EXISTING KNOWLEDGE and Experience using a D-Spect unit, - a new Nuclear Scanner, Prior work experience as a Nuclear Tech
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION:
M-F 830-530p $55+/hr based on experience includes strong benefits package including 75% paid health, parking, vacation, sick, holidays, pension plan and life insurance!(

(Job #2256) OPHTHALMOLOGY TECH BILINGUAL SPANISH for MANHATTAN BEACH-AREA ophthalmology practice
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years working experience in OPHTHALMOLOGY (not optometry!)
- Must be experienced handling the work of a TECH - DOING the detailed exams and assisting with procedures and surgeries in an ophthalmology practice
- EMR experience highly desired
- Bilingual Spanish required!
- Ability to work both supervised and independently as needed - must have initiative and willingness to assist throughout the practice as needed for quality patient care
DUTIES:
- Experience documenting medical histories and entering patient information into the EMR system
- Take initial visual acuity measurements, visual field testing
- Assist in surgeries depending on level of training or if a COT, COA or Surgical Tech
- Assist with contact lens fitting and patient instruction
- Prepare for and assist with in-office procedures
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
- Schedule is Monday - Friday 8a-5p
- Competitive salary based on experience (COT Surgical Tech with Ophthal surgery experience more highly compensated)
- Fully paid health insurance and Paid Holidays after 90-day probation, PTO, open parking
